Cove EDC Announces Land Sale | Herald of Copperas Cove

First Houston has partnered in and around Houston and Dallas. This is its first foray into the Central Texas market, EDC said.

Vice President Patrick McKiernan said he is excited about the prospects for development with the Copperas Cove community.

“We see the growing population in Central Texas as well as the huge opportunity for Tier 1 supply and manufacturing support for innovative industries that are popping up in the Austin area (Tesla, Samsung, Micron for n’ to name just a few) as opportunities for areas like Copperas Cove to attract and enable commercial industries to serve these markets beneficially,” he said. “The lower cost of land, a growing and talented labor pool, available land and soon buildings to rent or buy, and a community eager to help expand new businesses make us sing the praises of Copperas Cove to our customers.”

First Houston Properties’ development partner, Arisa, is working with its development team on the development of two to three facilities of approximately 40,000 to 50,000 square feet that can be occupied by a single tenant or multiple tenants. He hopes to inaugurate the first building by early 2023.
